Feb 23: College Disability Services Workshop

Feb 23: College Disability Services

- at Davis Dr Middle School

- 6:30-8:30 pm

- sponsored by DDE & DDMS SEIC

You’re leaving high school to pursue college studies.  You’re familiar with IEPs, parent conferences, and other adults advocating on your behalf. That all changes when you go to college. Once you begin college classes, you’re considered an adult who must take charge of your own academic needs. This shift in responsibility has a major impact on how you request and receive accommodations. Come listen to College Disability Services Representatives from NCSU and Wake Tech Community College explain college disability services so you can help make the transition to college a smooth one.

Space is limited so please register by sending an email to LMCNEILL9@NC.RR.COM with your name, email address and name of child's school (or organization if a professional).

If you have questions regarding the workshop or registration, please contact Lisa McNeill at LMCNEILL9@NC.RR.COM.
