General PTA Fund

The General PTA fund pays for most of the PTA programs offered at DDE.  These programs include:  Cultural Arts (artists such as Roger Day, the Taradiddle Players, Chinese Acrobat, Raleigh Symphony, etc. come to our school and perform for the children, and also offer workshops in the classrooms), Basic Aid Training for the 4th graders, Red Ribbon Week festivities, Reflections PTA art contest, Character Education programs, tutoring and tutoring programs, curriculum support (the PTA purchases programs to be used in the classroom), Grounds Improvement, Hospitality and Staff Appreciation, and PTA communication efforts such as this website and monthly bulletins.
