Grocery Cards

The PTA participates in several grocery card-type programs.  We work with Harris Teeter and Food Lion by linking the shopping service cards (VIC and MVP, respectfully).  We participate in One Cause, an online shopping service.  We also participates with Lowe’s Food, where PTA members can buy Lowe’s grocery gift cards, with 6% of the proceeds going to the PTA.  All proceeds are used to purchase technology for the school and classrooms.

Lowe's Foods Grocery Card Program

We have formalized the Lowe’s Foods Gift Card Program and 6% of all sales will go directly to the PTA.  So for example if you purchase $200 in grocery cards the PTA will receive $12.  We are hopeful this will be a successful and non-intrusive way of raising much needed funds for our Curriculum Support Program.
 
How it Works:

• Monthly orders accepted (the first Friday of every month, except January & April due to holidays) – the dates will be on the DDE Master Calendar and reminders will be included in the weekly bulletin.
• The Thursday following the order date the cards will be sent home with you student.
• The following day the cards will be activated (just in case they got lost on the way home).
• A standard order form (attached to this email) will be available online.
• We are selling cards in increments of $50 dollars, i.e. $50, $150, $200, etc.
• All cards must be prepaid for.  We will accept cash, check or money order.  If you are paying by check or money orders please make them made payable to DDE PTA.  If we receive an order without payment the order form will be returned to you to be resubmitted with payment.
• The cards are accepted at any Lowe’s Food store.
• When shopping at Lowe’s Foods you may still take advantage of special offers by:
  • shopping online
  • using coupons
  • using your frequent shopper card
